    Dune 2!

Anyone want to sell their Amiga by the way? I was supposed to be getting one from a mate at work but it looks like that may be falling through. Apparently me going on about how great they are has made him decide to keep and play it instead of selling.

    Shadow of the Beast 2!

I'm going to dig out my A600 at some point and see if I can get it to work...

GODS, like every Bitmap game, is a classic. I love their art style.

I'm not saying Hunter is the best Amiga game necessarily, but it's definitely in the mix.

    As are these two, imo.

    Hired Guns

    Liberation

@lucky_jim Did you ever play Whale's Voyage? Very much along the lines of Liberation. I had it on the CD32 and played both of those games a lot, despite not really being in to that kind of thing,

    @MrTomFTW
Wanted to play that, never did. A few years ago, I bought a second-hand CD32 to relive those Amiga days, it came with a copy that never worked :(

One of these days I'm going to have the space to recreate the old Amiga 1200 setup I had with a Blizzard 1220 RAM upgrade and accelerator, only with an SD card in the hard disk bay instead of the 60 megabyte disk I used to have, and with WHDload installed. Maybe I'll get to play it then.

    Happy Amiga Day!

Here's a remix I did of Xenon - it's somewhat all over the place.

Did you play Sensible World Of Soccer by any chance? 😄
It would be my choice for best game on the Amiga.

Next remix I do will be quieter...

I allways wanted to give the Whale's Voyage games a try, but back in the day I could not get the AGA version and later could not find a copy of any version of the game anywhere.

    Has it aged well?
Every once in a while I feel tempted to give it a go on the emulator.

Presumably for a game that age, the Amiga version may be superior, but the PC version of Whale's Voyage is up on Abandonia: http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/532/Whales+Voyage.html

Still the only 'proper' racing game that I have ever truly enjoyed.

Heh, just realised that it's an old-ish thread and that I have already replied...albeit in 2008!

Wow - my list-making skillz have faded. Did I really have that much energy?
