Was the person who caused it brown? Absolutely disgraceful.

"They eat dogs as well as baby fetuses over there. Why is it when you read anything bad happening in the world, it's somehow started in China? And no ones thought "ooh, I can think of a place we should nuke!"

That's just a small outtake of one of my bosses at work eloquently talking about his feelings on the far east to a group of lads.

You'd be amazed. My wife is in a mumchat group who were worried about their boys going up to secondary school and not being able to tie their own laces.

They were coming up with all kinds of strategies to get around it, like those self tying laces, the springy ones or doing them double knots in the morning rather than, I dunno, TEACHING THEM TO TIE THEIR FUCKING SHOELACES.

Tldr: if that woman has hit 22 without learning that basic life skill, it's actually the mums fault.
My MIL works with a woman who has never learned to drive. Nothing wrong with that at all of course, but the problem is that she has depended all her life on getting lifts from her parents. And not just for socialising, she has them take her to and from work every day. She's 50 something, and is often heard on the phone arguing with her father because he can't pick her up right there and then, while moaning that she can't afford a taxi and "doesn't see why" she should take public transport. Again, she's 50 something. Her dad is mid-eighties. This has been going on for their entire lives. Apparently they've never had a decent holiday in their retirement because the daughter "wouldn't be able to get to work".

Anyway, the quoted story made this pop into my head because on the one hand, fuck the daughter, but you kind of also want to slap the parents with the other one.

That was my first reaction too. But then, sympathy is limited when the solution is just to not give the menopausal cunt a lift whenever she demands it

Yeah, its the parents fault. My M-I-L, who is nearly 70, is always complaining that my S-I-L is, despite not working, always calling at random hours of the day and night for her to drop everything to go round and look after her two kids.

If its such hard work, stop fucking doing it then.

There is a pretty good Chinese horror film about eating human fetuses called dumplings.

Spoilered the film name as the baby eating is possibly a plot spoiler. (Been a long time since I watched it).

    Just checked with the wife.

No. Apparently she's got her own house. Her parents are picking her up to and from her own house.

It seems she's one of these who "had a bad experience" on a driving lesson and never did it again.

Allegedly she was screaming down the phone at 2am in the morning at the work xmas party because her dad (again, mid 80s) wouldn't or couldn't pick her up

But she's too good to use the bus or the train?! She needs a kick up the arse.

What's she going to do when her parents die? Become a shut-in? Live at work?
