Seeing as the economy is probably going tits up, happens every now and then. I thought I'd create a thread for all of us that fear for their jobs. You can tell us that you fear for your job and if worse comes to worse you can make yourself feel slightly better by telling us you saw it coming. I'll start: I fear for my job, 1, because I am bored senseless 2, I've become even more of a lazy arsehole and 3, cause the company already went bust once this year. |

Registered 13 years agoI fear for my job if and when my boss realises I spend about five hours of my eight hour shifts on the internet. I have received reprimands for it in my last two jobs, but I can't help it - I'm basically addicted.
And work is boring. -

How does that work then? How come you're still going if you've already gone bust? -

Nah. Rhymes with vomit. Don't say it though as walls have ears.

Registered 14 years agoWhat. You don't get rent paid. Or Council tax.
Do you?
I've had to reapply for mine as the idiots there said I missed an interview that I knew nothing about and had it cancelled. -

It depends on the local reference rent, they have max rents they will pay for each size of property, if yours is over this, you have to pay the difference, or move. -

Except that the rent I was paying was the going rate for a private studio flat, so cheaper accomodation wasn't an option. And this was many years ago, maybe they're a bit more generous now. -

Registered 16 years agoUnderneath the age of 25, the government only allow a housing benefit of £50 a week. Throw JSA on top and tell me if you could live off that. -

Not buying two more 360s might help with that -
Triggerhappy what can you do for 5 hours each day on the net at work? Play Yahoo! pool?
