Terry has already been dissed as nowhere near as attractive as the bull dike one from DS9. It's possible the poster was insane though.

STIV would be shit as well were it not for the kitsch 80s culture. It isn't even a proper ST film.
It is shit. I rank it alongside V.

Be careful what time you enter their dimension or else it'd cost you a fortune.

That said, I take your point about Generations having plot holes, but it's the best Star Trek film.

What the fuck have you been huffing? Generations!

Bah, I am so not getting involved in this thread.

    Me.

That said, I take your point about Generations having plot holes, but it's the best Star Trek film. And what do you mean you can just jump in to STIII, STIV etc? They're the second and third part of a trilogy.

Excuse me?! WTF? OMG ROFLCOPTERS?! EH? COME AGAIN?!

Generations is the best star trek film?

That's it I'm writing to my MP, your getting sacked.

Never understood the design of the ships in Trek. Why would you have the bridge right at the top of the ship in an exposed position, where it's an easy target? You'd lose an awful lot of officers that way.

You must think I'm quite the madman...

(third time I've used this, in this exact context, on EG)

I will take this up with you personally. I have an interview at RBS next week.

Well done, guys. Nerdiest thread on EG, and that's a hell of an accomplishment.

But that'll let all the space in! You can't breath space.

It's the bits between the space you've got to worry about.

    no ^^

I mean, it *was* a rubbish episode, but the principle was sound - the universal (machine) translator was translating into English, but the "grammar" was reliant on imagery and context which the computer was not able to make "sense" of.

Watching Star Trek must be like playing through the entire Wii catalogue. You're bound to come across some good stuff, but you'd have to try a lot of lightweight crap before you found it.
