Registered 18 years agoWell if you're going to bring Voyager into this we could go on all night naming truly awful episodes. Like when they combined Tuvok and Neelix into Tuvix and oh god it hurts to think about it. -

It's hard to think of a "worst" episode of Voyager as the entire series was mediocre.

What, Threshold? I didn't, at any point, piss over the whole franchise by stating something couldn't be done, then doing it anyway. The writers and director were entirely happy with the episode, citing at as the "best one eva!"
That wasn't sarcasm, just downright lies. No-one liked Threshold, including the people who made it. Although I like all Trek, and will buy any and all reasons for making up new canon that contradicts old stuff, even I was telling my TV to go and try again.
That planet Scotland TNG episode was bad too - probably worse than Threshold since I can rewatch Threshold but wouldn't watch that bloody stupid ghost story episode that I felt genuinely racially offended by.
And as for Shades of Gray, and I try not to swear overly frequently, but a fuck-cunt-ing clip show? On Star Trek? CLIP SHOW?! Good lord no. Inexcusable in most shows, reason for the writer to get sent to Hell and shoved in front of Hitler in the queue for rectal grating in Trek. -
Star Trek should never be taken seriously. I mean, its all a bit shit really isn't it? -

Registered 17 years agoWhat the fuck happened to Brannon Braga? He wrote some bloody good TNG episodes, and by the end of Voyager he was pissing out some of the worst scripts I've ever had the misfortune to watch.
Did Ron Moore nick all his talent while they were writing together or something? -

In their defence they'd pretty much ran dry of cash at that point, that's why it was mostly a clips episode.

Indeed she is definitely the worst TNG character (actually now I have made that statement I remember Weasly) and a terrible actress to boot. Her voice acting in Mass effect shows she has not improved since TNG either. -

Registered 18 years agoI think Troi's character was really a product of the time it was created (mid 80s). I think she became rather out of place by the end of the series, and even more so in the films. -
