I'm riding my bike in the park, and this Vulcan says "Oi! You can't ride your bike on the grass!" and Q goes "Oh no?" And her uniform falls off, and she goes "Ahh!" and she's trying to cover up, but I've seen everything anyway. And I get on my bike and I ride off. On the grass.

I am just picturing Stewart being offered the script for the show and him asking "will there be nudity?"

    Early impression from Enterprise watch:

Everyone is very seriousface all the time. While each previous Trek is arguably more serious in tone than the one preceding it this one really feels like it lacks the domesticity and warmth TNG and spin-offs have.

The production values don't feel like Star Trek either but I'll get used to that.

Characterwise only Phlox the doctor feels Treky so far and in an annoying early Neelix way. The rest are all too similar to one another.

    I think...

Archer: bad. Badly written, badly acted. Worst Star Trek captain.
T'Pol: a few interesting ideas, but ultimately underwhelming. It doesn't help that they're trying use her as a sex symbol.
Trip: didn't like him first, but he grew on me. Possibly ENT's best character.
Phlox: can be a little annoying, but in the end he's not bad, the trekkiest character in ENT I guess
    Sato: meh
    Reed: meh
    Mayweather: who?

Hey now, he said T'Pol as a sex symbol doesn't work but dog is a bit strong.

I always thought Sato was much hotter.

That episode where her clothes fell off was not Trek’s finest hour though.

Midway through episode one and T'Pol already had her kit off with Tucker running special cream on her.

The scene didn't serve anything other than giving nerds a glimpse of what her tummy and nipples might look like. Even the horniest previous Trek moments were never so overt.

Because, in Star Trek, 'species' is short for 'character trait' all Vulcans are basically the same character.

This is them hamfistedly saying 'like Spock and Tuvok but sexy'.

It's why data is such a great character. Like Vulcan but Robot gives much more scope.

Discovery's emo Spock turned out to be quite a successful take on core cast Vulcan after seeing how T'Pol starts out as such a race as character trait dead end
