I'm sure this thread has been done before at least once but the search isn't working for me at the moment.

I was looking for something totally unrelated on Youtube and stumbled across this which is a Seu Jorge cover of Don't, originally by Elvis.

I'm a huge Elvis fan, but also a huge Seu Jorge fan, and I actually think I prefer the cover. I think it's absolutely gorgeous. (Sorry Elvis.)

Anyone got any more?

Live and Let Die originally done by Paul McCartney and Wings was bettered by the Guns n' Roses version in my opinion

Yeah. I agree with all of the above apart from Smooth Criminal but only because I haven't heard the cover - off to youtube now.

I kinda wish I hadn't started this thread now, I'm meant to be working on an essay but now I'm going to spend the rest of the day on Youtube

I looked up the Alien Ant Farm cover btw, it's no Michael Jackson beater.

Definitely agree with the Paul Young suggestion though. His Best Of is only �4.99 on Play, I'm tempted.
