Registered 8 years agoYeah just watched that. I think the book is fucking bollocks so hadn't got my hopes up for the film, yet now I'm curiously hopeful. Especially as he's drawing from Kubricks Shining as well. I got chills seeing room 237 (217 dammit) and hearing that theme music at the end. I also rate Flanagans previous output as well as the fact that MacGregor might actually make a good adult Danny.
We'll see. The trouble is I happen to think the source material, as said above, is fucking pants. So it might suck regardless.
