    Another Three Musketeers 3D Trailer

I´m glad that Anderson was able to capture my favourite part of the book so well, the massive airship fights.

Speilberg's Warhorse looks like the most purposely over sentimental shit ever. Should have just been called Pulling at heartstrings. I actually thought it was gonna be one of those joke Muppets trailers at one point.

    The Iron Lady

I thought it would be bad. But this takes the piss. Streep looks absolutely ridiculous. AND THEY ARE USING THE BLOODY MOON MUSIC! Dickheads.

Someone in the Guardian comments reckons it's standard practise for a trailer when a film's score isn't finished yet.

I wonder what the odds are of that bombing and the old hag dying around release time?

Yep standard practice as the score is often one of the final things (along with SFX) that gets added to a move, a few good examples here:

There's not really enough in the trailer to tell either way, imo.

I get that it's standard practice, I just recent them using the score from one of my favourite films for this.

Film looks like its going for laughs which I find disturbing.

Going to be a funny film based on that.

The Apprentice started using film score music in the last few weeks, it's very off putting. So far we've had Welcome to Lunar Industries from Moon, In a heartbeat from 28 Days Later and the Mind Heist Inception Trailer music. All tracks I listen to almost daily but very weird to hear as someones running around trying to flog umbrellas to wholesalers.

My point anyway is yeah I never really like hearing noticable tracks from other films used in trailers. Requiem for a Dream's main score was almost becoming a cheat, that with any footage looks amazing.

    Trailer for The Thing prequel.

    http://www.techamok.com/?pid=9157

Actually does not look to bad. I am going to think of it as going to be total shit though. That way it has a chance of me liking it.

Fixed it now. Dam copy link from that site gave me a broken link. It's the same trailer on either link though.

Dont you think The Thing looks more of a remake then a prequel? some of those set pieces are in the original.

Film looks alright, but the trailer was gash. I coud've knocked up better-looking vira in 15 minutes in paint.

@Hindle The story is I think meant to be of the Norwegian camp that originally dug the Thing up and where the guys in the chopper at the beginning of the Thing come from. I thought the bit with the thing still in the block of ice looked very similar to the room when Macready and the others go over to see what is left of the Norwegian camp.

I think this was the original plan for the film anyway so not sure if they have changed that premise. If this is still the premise the film should be set in about 1980 and I could not see anything to confirm or deny that. No obvious give aways were on screen like a PC or something along those lines.

The Apprentice and Top Gear have been using the Tron Legacy soundtrack mercilessly recently.
