Can you make fat avatars? I noticed that I've not seen any fat ones so far. Don't misunderstand, I'm buff as a gladiator, but what about the poor old fatties?

I noticed that as well. In terms of hair, they have every option you can think of, apparently. But fat arses, big tits, and even avatars who are in a wheelchair, they don't seem to exist in avatar-land.

Oh and to the guys still wondering, the actual update is 7MB, yes, but the Avatar module weighs in at 128MB.

I mean talk about MS not representing their core market / audience.

Personal observation: Is it just me or do all the avatars shown off so far look like a weird hybrid of all the EG staff put together. Well Kristan and Rauper at least...

Are they going to make this downloadable to a PC?

So I can burn it to a disc and install it that way.

Might mean I can avoid the after work rush is all I was thinking.

Is NXE really launching at 10am?

That's a shame as PS3 firmware updates tend to be available in the early hours of the morning meaning that it's possible for me to download them quickly at 8am in mere minutes before the mad rush, impressive considering they're 100 MB+ in size.

If NXE doesn't go online until 10am then I won't be able to download it until tomorrow night as I'll be at work. And we all know what LIVE can be like at that time whenever anything popular hits the Marketplace... :?

Yes, there's a new, presumably minor, update from v2.0.7356.0 to v2.0.7357.0 apparently before you can download the main Avatar data and intro video which are around 128 MB in total. I suspect the update will be very quick but the other stuff will be really sloooooooooooooooooooooooooow.
