Anyone bought anything from simplygames since they started sponsoring Eurogamer? Any feedback on their service?!

I had a brief look, saw nothing I particularly wanted. Didnt look too bad though, not sure on price.

    I don't buy games on-line... sorry.

I was going to give them a go, but they didn't have what I was after :)

They do seem to have a somewhat limited range at the moment - are they just taking time to build up their range after the relaunch?

    The

    "Where we deliver to

Due to restrictions imposed by particular publishing rights, Simply Games can only distribute products to the UK (including Northern Ireland)."

part is a bit of a letdown.
Oh, and they still haven't sorted out their "browse submenus in Firefox" problem.

Sorry Raups, no. I'm in bed with Gamestation at the moment, because they take all my old PC tat as trade-in.

Also, I didn't notice the ad at the top. Eep.

    Ajay: what were you after?

I'm going to put together all the feedback we get for them so they know what actual gamers/potential customers think of the shop.

    Cheers

I was browsing for a couple of those PS2 flight games - Lethal Skies 2 and Deadly Skies 3, respectively. I've managed to track down LS2 somewhere else now though, I'm afraid...

As for the shop I like the simple, easy layout, and I do like the way they have older games available cheaply. I'm certain I'll use them at somepoint soon.

I have been looking but right now I'm going through a stage of catching up with the titles I should have got on release and so am looking in the £10-20 range for 6-18 month old titles on the consoles (where basciallly it is special offers only that catch me) and on the PC Play.com are still the Gods of prices and so Simply will have to compete with those prices to grab me (ditto on the consoles, they're competitive but unless they're cheaper than Play I can't see me going for an unknown when Play are fast enough and haven't let me down in the past)

I had a look but either Play, Amazon or even pre ordering from Game has so far always been cheaper.

Well, I've just recieved my first order from Simply, and in case rauper or anyone's still after feedback I thought I'd bump this thread.

Ordered Thief 2 (well, it was only 4 quid) late Thursday afternoon and it arrived this morning. And, well, you can't really ask for more than that, can you? So yes, nice service and I'll happily use them again - although as ever it's going to come down to whoever sells something cheapest :)

If they're gonna be sponsoring Eurogamer, you'd think they'd make sure they actually deliver to Europe.
