Registered 15 years agoHmmmm, she certainly doesn't look fat from that picture, although he nose is quite wide. Would be interesting to see a non-black and white, normal picture. -

As for the young lady, she looks quite nice - you should give it a go

Registered 15 years agoGive it a go? I just posted her pictures on an online forum and made various remarks about her and her mother. Is that really the best course of action? -

Registered 15 years agoYeah, why not - what have you got to lose? We are just faceless geeks anyway, so what difference does it make that we've seen pictures of her and you've made comments? She's probably doing exactly the same with her mates. Or something. -
Yeah, I post on girlygamer and there's a whole thread there entitled "Ahaha, look at this nerdy spacker" -

They do talk about why you've taken pictures from above though. -

Contrary to all you other misfits, my experience thus far has been pleasantly positive.
So basically I have come to the conclusion that you are all damaged goods. -

For example does it lead to marriages.
It can do, but I'm afraid you'll have to do it in somewhere like California. -

Registered 15 years agoI've been through all the pages in my area and age range and well. Not a decent one (aside from the bitch who thought she was too good for my wink) among them. Maybe after New Years there will be more desperate girls looking for love online, but so far it's shit. -

Registered 15 years agoHey, I've just found a stunning looking woman with very similar interests... who also lists video games as a hobby!
That's a fucking trap, right?
Plus.. does anyone else have the problem whereby they're devastatingly handsome, but the camera can't quite seem to capture it? Bane of my fucking life, that is... -

"I like video games" on a chick's profile is like "I like art exhibitions and museums" on a dude's. You may well, kinda, but you probably wouldn't pay to go in one.
Pure bait.
I'd imagine girls who are genuine gamers keep it off their profile as they may well feel the same stigma as us. -

Registered 16 years agoI keep games off my profile and I work in the fucking industry. Imagine what it's like when someone asks me the inevitable "so, what do you do for a living?" question. I've left it as "I love my job" on my profile. That said, I have been chatting to some girl who apparently loves Guitar Hero which is a definite thumbs up (stop giggling) for me.
Also, send a message, don't wink. Winks piss me the fuck off when a girl can't think of a decent message to write. Also, they're quite often from porkers.
And if there's a girl who you're unsure about, just send a message. As had already been discussed, I've had a few times like Hunam where I've got excited about a particular individual, sent a message and not heard back, despite they've looked at my profile. Some girls look better in reality than in photos. Some might also not be able to send messages if they're not subscribed. If anything, just send a message as practice, y'know, for the good ones. -

Sod it, I've signed up for a month. Winked at two women. What's the worst that can happen?
That's a rhetorical question, thanks. -

Registered 15 years agoAlright, seriously, what's the etiquette when you're winked at by someone who doesn't interest you? Clicking "no thanks" as a courtesy seems incredibly harsh... But is it any worse than just not replying?
How are you lot finding the rejection side of things?
Shit, that sounds harsh, too. -

Oh god no. I'm a mature guy with a thick skin, yet if someone gave me a "no thanks" I think my ego would assplode, I'd be a crumpled heap on the floor and I'd become a housebound recluse convinced I was the spit Joseph Merrick.
What a fucking stupid idea, anyway. I think people get the idea if you don't reply.
