I think the fact that you're even thinking about online dating 'down the road' means you're doing the right thing separating, whatever the reason.
I'm separating from my wife next week, it's amicable, probably because I'm happy to be a doormat and provide the daily school runs for the kids.
I'm trembling with anticipation of what single life could be like. I've been in relationships for 20 years now.
I've just turned 40, in the best shape I've ever been with a decent job with nice perks.
Just put a deposit down on my dream bicycle, something I couldn't have done as a henpecked father of two.
Going to give it 6 months I think before having a dabble in this online dating lark.
Apropo of nothing, I guess, but didn't want to read and run. -
Online dating is a lot better than I was expecting and as long as you aren't as much of a freak as many in this thread you'll have a good chance of meeting someone.
Closing in on 9 months with the GF now, spending Xmas with her parents and grandparents, been on holiday together twice and planning another next year. -
Ps. There's a lot of really attractive and nice women on there now. You'll probably get familiar with a story of them thinking they've concentrated too much on their career and/or not into meeting random guys in bars. -

Registered 16 years agoAfter my brother bagged a lovely french girl and one of my bezzies snagged a good looking lawyer, both on eharmony, my dad has decided to throw his hat into the online dating ring.
18 months after my mum passed away hes gone from suicidal to asking my mrs what women want in an online profile.
I am somewhat conflicted.

Registered 14 years agoThe thing is, I really don't want another relationship. Just to meet new people, hang out, drink coffee, go to gigs midweek.
My main focus is to maintain my relationship with my sons.
I'm in the classic scenario now where everyone I know is married with kids. -

You might get lucky with that but they are dating sites so most will be there to look for a relationship.

And you can't say that nick without a copy or at least a description.
