Well, leftover Brussels can be used to make awesome Bubble and squeak.
When you prepare them. Use a sharpe knife to make a small cross in the stalk area, which will make them cook through nicely.
Other than that, be mindful of the fact that people either love or hate them.

I'd suggest after work drinks but I'm due to have drinks with friends in Ghent that night. -
Oh, didn't know you were based in Brussels too, be great to meet up. We're in one pub or another from Friday evening until Monday morning :-D (realistically we'll be sipping coffee with a dash of whiskey or the like!)

Heh, last night we got lost in the pissing rain, spent 40 minutes looking for a pub, we were drenched. Found a lovely family bar, forgot there was smoking allowed here. They were delighted we were from Ireland though they seemed unimpressed by our consumption of alcohol (we stayed respectful though). Everytime they dropped a plate of food over we had it gone in a minute or two, the other groups of locals would nibble for an hour or two :-D
Today we're doing touristy stuff, want to go see Bosch and the central area. Tonight there's an awesome Jazz bar L'archiduc in the lower town, sounds awesome. -
Any recommendations for a place to go to watch the Man U match?
