    Happy Kids

...couldn't afford anything else after "Santa" got them so much.

Got some trainers (I'm in danger of turning into a dad bod) and new spice rack and some oddments. My wife was happy and so were the kids and that's all that matters.

Today is the day I'm finally going to get to play Red Dead Redemption 2. Been sat twitching for the last 2 days looking at the box but not having time to play it. Missus is off to work in a minute so the blinds are getting shut, the Christmas chocs are coming out and the phone is going on silent. Happy days.

My wife is also back at work and I have no relatives left to visit so a nice quiet day for me. Plans are to finally finish The Witcher 3. I've done the two dlcs now so just the last part of the main game to go. Then I have a few games to decide which I start: Persona 5, Doom or the new God of War (although I have God of War 3 to play as well).

    Just a thimble full.

It has some smart features (app notifications, music control) but looks like a normal watch.

    Mostly money.

Doesn't help when I could offer absolutely no suggestions for presents for myself to anyone (even the missus).

You charge it like your phone, and you have 9 hours or so of wireless light! :)

    A Steampunk clock.
    Tickets to the theatre.
A ‘book of the month’ subscription.
A bottle of Isle of Harris gin.
    Books.
A new hat and running headband.
There’s another one arriving in the next few days - an aerial map of Edinburgh printed into metal.
