Yeah, there's something about Turner. Was trying to explain this to the missus and only managed to dig myself in deeper.

I think me saying "She'd take a load over the face without blinking her eyes or screwing up her face. She's that class of dirt." probably didn't help things.

You tried to explain this to the missus in the first place? And you used that line of argument in the second?

Just out of curiosity, do you have a comfortable sofa?

Actually, I'm surprised no-ones mentioned Carole Vorderman yet.....

Trinny and Susanna. It's like the movie Twins, if you could morph them together you'd have a decent woman. But at the moment each one has something the other distinctly lacks.

Saw her the other day in an open-top jag parallel to Oxford Street. Some of us ran after the car and when we walked close she moved the car forward a bit in traffic thinking we were gonna mob her. We just walked on by as if she didn't exist.

Classic moment. Scare the Paranoid Celeb.

Erm. No, I probably wouldn't. Her eyes are too.....froglike. There's something very Corrupted River Hobbit about her eyes.

Only if she's wearing the leather biker suit thing. Walked right past me the other day, and I have to say I was a little disappointed with the quality in the flesh.

    Top thread this . . . .

She hosts late night Win, Lose or Draw. Absolutely filthy language indeed, makes this place sound like a convent.

Makes no odds to me - her and that one who does the London BBC evening news (Emily Maitlis - you know, the one who had the stalker) in a nice little "just the three of us" scenario.

    Anna Rider Richardson? No thanks.

    But Emily Maitlis....

She always looks like she was just about to go out for a nice drink when she realised she has to present the news ;)
