I was nearly tempted into buying Ace Combat until I realised you get it for 2.50 in the UK rather than 7.50 here.

    Greedy sods :(

says 9.99 in the uk store

EDIT: ignore me for some reason my steam was showing the full price on the store page without the discount.

I have discount vouchers for Skulls of the Shogun, Pixel Piracy and Flotilla, if anyone wants them.
  • Deleted user 5 April 2014 11:31:39
Me too, i have for anyone that wants them.

    25% off, Octodad
    25% off, Pixel Piracy
75% off, Skulls of the Shogun
    20% off, Escape Goat 2
    10% off, Toki Tori 2+

Honestly no idea why they bother with these 25% vouchers, its not like its going to push me to buy some random indie game. Either i want it and so buy it anyway or i dont care. yay saving 1 now pushes me to buy it!

I still have three Toki Tori 2+ vouchers to get rid of and I know I never will. Kind of pointless Steam giving them to me really.

Not to shit on your generosity guys but most people were also given these voucher as well.
Didn't know that. Thought it was a bit more random, seeing as I've not had one before, in 6 or 7 years or so.

As part of a Gillette promotion I have a code for 6 off at Origin, the catch is it only for EA Sports titles. Which basically means Fifa and uh Fifa manager.

As I have no intreast in either, send me a message and ill give you 6 off at Origin. Simple really.

Saying that, I have these Steam vouchers:
    1x -30% Explodomon
    2x -25% Pixel Piracy
1x -75% Skulls of the Shogun
    1x -10% Toki Tori 2+

Most of those will end soon-ish while I'm fairly certain I won't buy any of those games so give me a shout if you want one. First come first serve.

Missed out on all the good prices for Half Life complete lately.
    :(
Considering Half Life stuff is discounted heavily in every Steam sale and every other month otherwise I have to ask: that comment was this thing called "humour", right?

No, I've only ever owned Orange Box on 360.

I bought a late 2012 iMac and didn't realise Half Life complete was available for mac. I looked at the weekend and had missed a sale by a day.
Well, don't fret, I guesstimate you'll have to wait a month at most for another -75% discount.

And saying that, apparently there are a couple of excellent HL2 mods out and about bringing the game up back to contemporary standards. Reminds me I still need to try those out.

Pleased with my purchase of Ace Combat Assault Horizon that didn't cost me a thing, due to funds raised from trading cards :D

Lots of generous people with more money than sense that's who :D I sold a foil card a week or two ago for getting onto 3! I'm certainly not complaining.

@PenguinJim I'd be in for a copy at that price.
  • Deleted user 12 April 2014 08:14:09
@PenguinJim I would definitely be up for dragon commander at that price. Count me in :) might tear me away from crusader kings 2 for a bit!
  • Deleted user 12 April 2014 11:34:26
    @PenguinJim

Iam in for a copy of Dragon Commander, was tempted to hit the button for 7 but if your offering 4.20 be rude not to.

Dragon Commander is fun, although the RTS bit devolves into crazy spam fests a bit too quickly. Still, it's idiosyncratic, funny and enjoyable.
  • Deleted user 12 April 2014 15:43:38
I think it is fair to say Dragon politics is niche. I have been interested since i heard it on the PC Gamer podcast last year. From a 'uh sound mentally different' sort of way.

Thank you for sorting that out PenguinJim.

@PenguinJim Tried adding you on steam but steam is bugging out everytime I try. PM me your paypal address and I'll send the money and we can sort out the game once steam isn't misbehaving. I'm not in a mad rush for it anyhow can't seem to play anything that isn't Diablo 3 atm anyway.

    Edit: Think its worked now

    What's Dragon Commander like?

I've heard a lot of good things about the character interaction and progression system but much less so about the core mechanics, i.e. the RTS part.

I sort of feel morally obliged to purchase this considering I work in the same building as the dev but a game with "meh" gameplay, hmm. At 2/3rds off though...

RTS is the weakest bit. Still fun.
