    Dungeons 2 is free on GOG.com. I have no idea what it is, mind.
    Also seems some new titles have been added to GOG Connect.

    Both GOG and Steam are giving away FTL when you buy Into the Breach (until 6th March anyway).

    If you already have FTL then you can gift a copy with Steam, I don't think GOG are doing the same.

    The Humble Store is running the same time limited offer. I don't think the Steam store did at launch, but I see they do now.

    Into the breach looks great. I'm one of the few that has never played FTL. I'm tempted.

    I highly recommend "Into the Breach". It's just excellent game design. Really tight, deep game systems, and insane replay value. I would buy it again on ipad, if it ever comes to that platform.

    I'm also a big fan of FTL, but there's no real basis for comparison here. The two games are quite different, and stand alone as essential indie/strategy titles. Subset Games are really impressing me.

    Does anyone use Steam Link? If so just wondered what your thoughts were?

    Yea I have a steam link. Was surprised by how well it works( as long as everything is connected via Ethernet, gets a but dicey if one or both devices are using wifi). Most types of games work great, exceptions being fighting games and games that need really low latency.

    You can connect a ds4 to it too which is nice.
  • Deleted user 4 March 2018 11:20:50
    @monsieur-Cosmo

    Cheers. I usually use search but for some reason I didn't think there was a thread for it. Will check it out.

    Yeah it would be just for single player stuff. Nothing competitive.

    Just read the free FTL with Into the Breach thing seconds after purchasing ITB on Steam... Was a little worried I'd missed the deal, but then saw it was installing both.

    I've also never played FTL, so looking forward to giving them both a go!

    Speaking of FTL does anyone want a copy? I also got it with ITB but I bought it from the humble store so its a separate code. It expires on the 20th though so it needs a home before then or it will go to waste.

    Bargain! I'll take it!

    The Steam Link is good if you occasionally want to play pc games on your TV. It doesn't give you as good quality as having it hooked up directly and latency can be an issue (crypt of the necrodancer, for example, is unplayable) but it's certainly functional and I love me a bit of Witcher 3 on the tv.

    I've been using my Steam Link to play FF12 Zodiac Age. All ethernet cabled and lag iss imperceptable. I've plugged my Xbox 360 wireless adapter into it and it works brilliantly. Hate the Steam Controller and still haven't got used to the Xbone one.

    F1 2015 is currently free on the Humble store, also it doesn't appear to have Denuvo like 2016/2017.

    Certainly not cheap, but Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is now on GOG and currently with a 40% discount (so £27.87).

    I'd fancied it for a while, but was put off by the quite frankly eye-watering Steam price of £46.49. Still might be too high for me to bite, personally, but others may be interested.

    Nice it finally made it to GOG. I enjoyed the Vita versions and have considered getting PS4 or PC one and GOG is my platform of choice on PC. And yeah £46 was steep. I would say it is worth £27 if you haven't already got the Vita version.

    Crusader Kings II can be claimed for free at Steam until Saturday. Does free games also count for the "10 games in 12 months" challenge ;).

    @Bleh

    If you install it, it counts. Not to mention that CK2 has huge amounts of dlc, most of which you'll want to buy. Definitely wait for a sale to catch up on the dlc.

    Ouch, with the games currently being given away for free it can go pretty fast.

    Yeah the amount of dlc is ridiculous. I can understand why they give away the base game for free.
