Registered 12 years agoLooking forward to this very much, I will discuss it with Joe Thomas when we have our annual kick about at Christmas

You're playing fast and loose with the word "stealth" there Andy -
No way is it the best since Spaced. From the same stable, Peep Show is far better.
But it's still good.
Edit: IT Crowd is nowhere near consistent enough to be considered brilliant. Father Ted draws affection and short-lived laughs more than serious, considered worship. I like it, but it's not as good as Peep Show, Spaced, Fawlty, Blackadder, et al.
Green Wing and Darkplace are fantastic, however.
I have spoken. -

Registered 11 years agoAny explanation as to why they are doing a third year of sixth form, when A Levels are only two years?... There were rumours of them moving to Uni for the third series and then the forthcoming film was going to lead off from that. -
So this is coming back in September? Best comedy on tv in years! And there is a film coming too. -

First two series were set in the first year of sixth form, hence there only being exams at the end of the second series.

3rd series starts at the beginning of upper sixth.
Film sounds like this could be going a bit too far... -

They wouldn't all go to the same uni though so I'm not sure how that would work.

BBC Three already tried doing a uni version of The Inbetweeners called "Off The Hook". It was shit. BBC Three innit. -

It apparently involves them going on an end-of-school holiday, which is the same thing as every other movie based on a comedy (remember Kevin & Perry...).
On the other hand, more Inbetweeners! If it's as funny as the series then that's fine.

I had this shouted at me once and it confused the hell out of me until I got round to watching the show.
In my defence I had been drinking so driving wasn't an option and the night bus was cheaper than a taxi.
Green Wing
Green Wing better than Father Ted, IT Crowd and The Inbetweeners? Now that is funny. -

Loved Green Wing.
Channel 4, when it gets it right is awesome.
BBC is crying in a corner somewhere. At least BBC three is almost getting there. PS: Nathan Barley was pure brilliance! -

Registered 9 years agoIMO Peep Show, Ideal, Black Books, Darkplace and The Thick of It are all better than The Inbetweeners.
And Spaced. -
The Thick of It was awesome, until I found out one of the main characters was a paedo! -

He's only in the first six episodes. And they're still awesome anyway. -

The Thick of It is brilliant, particularly for the scary malcolm character. The film was really good too.
