    Sounds uncomfortable!

46+, depending on the make of the shoe. Normal mens shoes usually work just fine, like Clarks and Crocket & Jones, but there are several brands that don't go past 45, which usually is too small.

    Ha, same size here.

I just got these on sale:

Pretty good. My previous daily shoes were Timberlands I got for 20 euro on sale in Hong Kong. They lasted 2 years of 80% usage ;)

I have similar troubles buying shoes on the high street too. They're all much of a muchness. Plus I'm an 11/12 which makes buying shoes a chunt. I'm a fan of Fly and Campers too, but they're all so damn expensive.

When I was in China the shoes were all insanely cheap and they had some awesome stuff out there but, sigh... the biggest size they have is 8 and whenever you ask for a 45 the girls start giggling :s

I'm thinking of getting a nice pair of Chelsea boots btw. Anyone know of a good brand? Crocket & Jones and Chuch make nice ones, but 300+ is a bit steep for me at the moment.

I've bought these recently. Nothing fancy but waterproof.

I am wearing a pair of Chelsea boots as I type this. Some pseudo-Italian brand of one of the German shoe chain stores though, I am afraid. :p

Those are awesome, in their own way. Has to be worn by someone who can carry it off though.

I think he'd like to be.

But he does carry them off. They are one example of many mental pairs he has. He's got another pair that are covered in silver jewels.

Why do gamers always have such terrible taste in footwear?

Um, I'd say they were far from 'gamers' attire.

I wouldn't wear them, but that's more because I'm old.

I don't know too many gamers in real life so I was talking purely about people on this forum, and everyone here seems to have terrible taste in footwear. :)

There are some nice shoes available here. I currently choose between wearing Hush Puppies (black leather) as they were one of the only shoes that had a broad enough fitting; Roland Cartier (Black Oxford) these are my favourite style of shoe and never go out of fashion and of course I love my Dr Martins, I've had umpteen different styles of DM's over the years.
