Weird game all round. Mainly upset at Youngs having a really good game to retain his place for another year.

Wales are going to be 5th in the rankings if Scotland win.

I’ve seen us play against 13 for 10 mins against Wales and fail to score. They were ruthless today. If you win against 14 you’ll always be told that’s the only reason why.

France are frustratingly consistent in shooting themselves in the foot.

So... if Italy get dropped from the six nations this year on account of not being able to play their games “. Does this mean that England will be champions? Or will they just scrap the competition for 2020.

@Graxlar_v3 Even if they did cancel the games, France or Ireland could still overtake England...

(If all the Italy games are declared null and void...)

France win by a bp and they will almost certainly overtake England and win.
Ireland win by a bp and they will win the championship.
    ...and...
If France and Ireland ends in a draw, and Scotland beat Wales...
    Scotland will win.
(/Edit just realised that Scotland's win against Italy would also be nullified, so Scotland wouldn't win the championship in this circumstance - duh!)

There's still a bit of excitement in the last week to be had potentially.

Has been a strange tournament though - England-Scotland game totally wrecked by that storm, and now the Italy postponements. Not really a championship to remember fondly.

Must say that Wales try at the start of the 2nd half was pure class... and thank you Mohammed Haouas for ensuring France can't slam :) - Scotland played out of their skin all match though and thoroughly deserved the win. Watch out Wales.

Not that it makes any actual difference in the real world, but if they cancelled the unplayed Italy games they would probably call those games 0-0 draws. I don’t think they were proposing voiding the results of the games already played. So mathematically Scotland are still in with a chance! :D

Watching highlights of The Autumn Nations Cup on Prime. Dreadful editing. No flow at all. I think Ireland played well going by the score but hard to tell really!

I didn't think the presentation of the England game was too bad
Noticed that when the ball was kicked the TV stream was struggling with the rapid spinning motion..

England's defence today was incredible. There were no poor tackles for 80 minutes, just hard hits. Shame in attack they were giving the ball away most of the time.

Thompson is the bloke who paid back his insurance money 4 years after a neck injury forced retirement, after pursuing a second medical opinion that let him play again, right?

I await another glorious Scottish defeat, I'm not fooled at all by England being under strength, England are still excellent and we still are always capable of self-inflicted suffering. However, I would dearly love to shut Eddie Jones' stupid fat face up.
