I started using my original X100 again. It's still amazing.

I really miss my X100S, I plan to get a 2nd hand one within the next year or so as a knockabout.

I didn't realise the original had a different sensor. More "filmic", whatever that really means.

Yes it's a Bayer sensor not x-trans, the images are nicer especially black and white.

Controversial but I believe the X100S images are superior to the X100F

I used to love my X100 but ultimately sold it as I found the focus just too slow even for casual stuff. Got an XT1 now, which is lovely, but the small form factor of the X100 is hard to beat. Maybe I should grab an X100S on the cheap...

What big feature additions/alterations did the T and F models bring?

I think the review on dpreview has a table covering the 4 models. The F has the latest 24mp sensor for example. Think the T was first to have WiFi.

Auto focus noticeably faster on the F compared to the S. The F better in low light, but then S was hardly a slouch. Higher resolution viewfinder (again, wasnít an issue with the S to begin with), more pixels (who cares about pixels though)

On the off chance anyone is looking for a Sony RX10 iii I have an absolutely mint condition one that Iím selling. Iíve used it a handful of times in the last couple of years, I simply havenít had the time to use it with the kids around and I end up taking my canon g7 out instead. Let me know if anyone (well, a regular) would be interested.

The cooling towers in Ironbridge Shropshire were demolished today, so I posted some photos of them still standing from earlier in the year and last year.

    Oh hi Lukus.

I recently compiled a few of my favourite autumnal shots as a farewell to the season.

Just before lockdown I "upgraded" to a X-T100, to take advantage of the pre-X-T200 price drop, and have ended up using my original X100 a lot more!

Although with different the focal lengths and better manual focus, I have managed to get a few shots I like ... e.g. Rosie the cat

    Anybody else use Fuji?

My XF 10-24 has started throwing a "Lens Control Error" when I attach it. There's about a second when the camera is powered on where you can take a picture, but after that you're SOL and no operations are allowed.

It looks like it's going to cost ~£150 just to send it off to a service centre.

Just that lens? Do the contacts look all intact?

If the contacts or mount is broken that can happen.

Had it with an XC 50-230 but I mean I did sit on my camera with the lens attached, and XC are plastic mount. Easily repaired with a new mount from eBay and worked perfectly afterwards.

XF lenses are metal so less likely thatís damaged tbh

Try posting on the talk photography forums thereís a lot of Fuji users over there

Oh, there's a photography thread on here! Hi!

I've been doing photography for a few years, mostly focused on people and artistic portraiture. Here are a few of my favourites I've shot. One of them has a little non-frontal nudity, I hope that's okay. I couldn't see anything in the rules that forbade such things.

I'm on Insta @brianoneillphotography if anyone wants to stalk me further.
