Some of the outrage about an EV crossover vehicle using the hallowed Mustang name seems to forget the 80s and 90s Mustangs. I don't

For a fair few years I've wanted a Dodge Challenger, a ridiculous muscle car but I just think they're gorgeous, heck one of the latest models is called the Shaker! Ahh if my life had taken a different turn, I could have afforded the mpg and road tax. Left hand drive would be a bind though.

What are the servicing costs like on a 2005 DB7? Might not even be a concern but could be a big difference between the two

Am used to shelling iut a lot to keep my 99 mx5 going so not high on list... tho db7s have a rep for being pricey with some specialist parts being scarce. Not sure how common mustangs are tho

In terms of fuel surprisingly db7 comes off worst

Don't DB7s have the Jaaaag engine? I think they're supposed to be relatively reliable and easy to work on

The Aston has the kerb-appeal, for me. Although the Mustang is nice. There's lots of Yank muscle cars here in Sweden, for some reason. They must be easy to import.

Speaking of Yank muscle cars, do they do a EV version of the PT Cruiser?

I'd say my puzzlement is the styling, it's too sleek. Cover up the mustang logo on the front and it could be made by anyone.

It just lacks that brutalist styling that makes a mustang a mustang.

DB7 was a Ford/Mazda parts bin special, not too many specialist parts to worry about

One issue with buying a car with a long waiting list is your dealership might go under.

This has now happened to me. Hopefully Kia can arrange something or I'll have to claim my deposit back from the credit card and just start again with another dealership.

Wow, suppose you donít really think of that happening but guessing it was a franchised dealer or something?

Either way, hopefully Kia can find another close enough dealer that can potentially pick up your order with any finance terms remaining the same.

What a ball ache though. Hope it goes smoothly, keep us posted

There's another dealership that I've been using for servicing for years. It's about the same distance, but it's not on my way to work like the one I used.

I'm hoping I can keep my place in the queue, but if I have to start again, it's not a massive deal. I only placed the order about a month ago and the car wasn't due until around August.

Ford have fucked off my Mustang pre-order too.

I'm contemplating a Model 3 but I think Elon is the worst human being who has ever lived. Someone post an article which shows he makes a huge personal loss on each car sold pls

My wife has a Model 3, I like it. Very nippy. Not too keen on losing the display behind the wheel, but I suppose you get used to it.

With all this global warming and flooding how come Elon's not investing in making amphibious vehicles for the masses? I quite fancy cruising along the canal to work, nude, in my car at 70mph.

The Model 3's look slightly wrong to me, can't quite put my finger on it though.

I got model 3, on Thr looks, the backend just isnít right and way too much chrome around windows, also completely clear glass feels like a gold fish bowl.

Otherwise absolutely love everything else about it. With updates car gets better every month or so

wish I didn't, imagine car full of 8 year olds driving them to footy match wanting that on all the way for 40minutes...

I do enjoy the occasional sitting in car playing Stardew Valley on screen instead of stood in cold watching them at footy practice though.
