Stream isn't working but the downloads are.

I loved the first, it was actually pretty spanking. Climbing that eagle mountain was awesome, it had some amazing maps and a real sense of place. Certainly very underrated and can be picked up for cheap now - I highly recommend it. Good solid story as well.

The new trailer shows that they're going for something else with this one, not a direct sequel. Should be proper nice. Nails the western feel beautifully - looking forward to this more than Red Dead now...

Definitely interested in this, but I'm awaiting a little more information.

Same goes for Red Dead.. Although I'm massively satisfied that there are not one, but two, western games coming out. I wonder how the shooting will be in them though :)

First game was great*. As mentioned the Mountain level was epic as were some of the vistas. I'm looking forward to this and Red
    We need a Clint western

*see also Gun, might even replay that on the 360

I liked Gun as well, even if it was a bit short and shallow.

More shooty-shooty, less sneaky-sneaky this time please :)

The sneaking killed it for me. Once you got spotted you were punted back to the start of the section. Terrible game design.

The Preacher bits were great (the mine section sucked) but the Billy(?) levels I could do without.

Ooo I'm interested! Absolutely bloody loved the first one. I was addicted to it! All aspects of it too - I even loved Billy's sections.

A much over looked game, imo.

I liked sneaking around the hill with the bow and arrow with Billy, those bits were quite nice. It was the couple of bits that put you back to the start of the section (stealing a horse or something I remember drove me MENTAL!)

Nice. Yeah, +1 - the preacher is ace. Billy can go fuck himself, though.

I never got caught or fell with Billy, so I'll put it down to you guys being rubbish. ;)

OK, maybe I fell once. The rope physics were admittedly awful. Not entirely sure how that got through playtesting.

Best trailer for a game so far this year. If this was a movie I'd probably see it based on this, let alone a game.

The first game ended up being quite good, so I'm hoping this is good.

Loved the split-character stuff in the first game but not sure if Techland have done that again for the sequel.

Billy could use the bullet time bow and arrow

    which was fucking awesome

I enjoyed the first a lot but it could be incredibly frustrating at times.

The trailer for the prequel looks awesome. I'm not sure how well the first sold but I got the impression it wasn't enough for another, clearly I was wrong. Hopefully there's a little less stealth, though I did enjoy some of the platforming that whip was a pain in the arse.

Well there is three brothers, maybe you play as each of them in different roles?

Hopefully it'll have a similar bible reading mechanic. That was all kinds of brill.

SJH speaks the truth, one of the best games I've played this gen tbh, a really incredible sense of scale, they nailed the western feel but also made it feel very epic, also Reverend Ray is one of the best videogame characters ever.

This is one of my most anticipated games this year, already looking brilliant.

Never played the first one past the demo, but this indeed looks kinda promising, in a slightly oldschool (good) way. The lock-on-ten-targets-half-a-mile-away special move looks a bit too silly, but maybe it isn't overused. Maybe.

Last I saw/heard you get the chance to choose 1 of 2 brothers at the start of every level with the other being controlled by AI, not too sure if the game is coop enabled
  • Deleted user 27 April 2009 18:00:07
I hope it's Coop from Twin Peaks enabled.

Now that its the story of how Ray went mental they might drop the horrible moral enforcing of the first game.

Whats that you want to shoot a horse? Take out the guy thats riding him? Make your point by shooting a corpse? Be a bit of a bastard?

Sorry no can do. Game over.

Thanks Devs I feel like a better person already!

Im really going to miss quoting the bible while killing guys though.
