The company I work for sells tools and fasteners but I'm only just adding tools to the online shop at the mo - there's only spanners and screwdrivers on atm, with loads more to be done! If you give us a ring we may be able to help, we sell just about everything (specialise in old imperial fasteners like BSW & BSF):

Registered 18 years agoTa Psychotext. Nobody else at my company thought an online shop would work, it's slowly proving them wrong, and I'm adding new items constantly.
I think you can tell from my site that I'm not a graphic designer, anyway! Needs an overhaul tbh (some of the pages are in severe need of a graphical overhaul), but it works - I tried to ensure it's fast & usable for the layman. And SEO wise it's stomping over some of our competitors, which is nice!
I'm thinking of getting a bigger shed & learning woodwork / carpentry to some degree. One thing I do wanna do is build my own arcade cab! -

Thanks, the online shop bit is new - but stuff like the Products page was done when I was just learning HTML, and makes me cringe now, have to get round to updating it!
Machine Mart is good as recommended by billythekid - know a few people who use that.
I'm definitely gonna start learning more DIY - I didn't have a clue until recently, we're in the middle of a loft conversion at the mo and it's fired an interest.
I seem to be tinkering more with stuff as I get older - used to think sheds were for old men! -

As I mentioned in another thread I can strongly recommend that Useful Shop place (sp?), the Swedish one. There's one in the Whitgift Centre in Croydon.
Clas Ohlson, that's it -

Registered 15 years agoQuestion for the "knowledgeable about tools" fellows. Back in the mists of time I used a particular accessory with a bench drill which could shave a hole in the surface of a bit of wood without needing to cut rightthrough it. What might that have been?
Also acceptable would be cutting a hole through wood and then giving that hole a slightly wider lip afterwards. Anything that could do that? I appreciate I could use a router but I find routing circles to be a pain in the arse. -

Registered 14 years ago/digs out Clas Ohlson catalogue
There seems to be thing called a Wood Router that might fit the bill, seems to be used for cutting shallow groves and curved edges in wood.
Here's a Clas Ohlson one -

Registered 15 years agoThanks. I have a router but it's quite awkward to use for things like this (mostly due to my own ineptitude). The thing I was looking for looks like one of these:
http://www.screwfix.com/prods/21983/Drill-Bits/Holesaws/Holesaws/Erbauer-Bi-Metal-Holesaw-51mm
Except the end is enclosed with a sort of razor blade. I just have no idea what it's called.
This would probably do the trick: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forstner_bit#Forstner_bit -

Registered 15 years agoJust want to recommend Axminster Too Centre ( www.axminster.co.uk ) as I've used them a couple of times over the last few weeks and they've been great.
They also sent me a huge catalogue that I've been thumbing through and wishing I had enough money to order all sorts of toys.
