Registered 15 years agoI played through the 2 nonLeon campaigns and most of the way through Leon's on PC a few years ago before getting sidetracked by an annoying boss. I treated it as a switch your brain off experience and it wasn't too bad for the sale price I paid but definitely a far cry from the classic games. Odd that you decided to play Ada first as I recall that scenario being the one that is really supposed to be played last. I do plan to replay REmake and 0 some time soon though (had my action run with Revelations 2) -
Does the 1080p/60fps ps4 copy really improve things?
If it was on sale for a fiver I'd get it but if it's still a turd but shinier then I'll pass. -

Registered 16 years agoIt improves things a lot. But not enough to offset the moments of awful game design.
It's still a turd. -
@pacrifice It's a slightly smoother and slightly prettier Resident Evil 6, but it's still Resident Evil 6.
Might as well ask whether Superman IV: The Quest for Peace is improved by being on Blu-ray... Erm, well, the movie now plays at its optimal frame-rate and has higher-definition video and audio, but it's still Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
It's perfectly possible to improve the presentation of a turd - the "plating up", if you will - but the taste and aroma will remain as fecal and fetid as ever, because there's no changing the fundamental nature of the thing. -
I played it in 60fps 1080 on PC and it's still as shit as the Xbox version I played a few years ago. -
I probably paid about a 5er for my PC copy so didn't have too high expectations. I do recall it being very long for a RE game though...
