Registered 18 years agoI had Debra in the office sweepstake, but am a little glad that she's gone, as whoever has the loser in the final gets the booby prize of becoming our new permanent office fire marshall... -

Agreed. That'll be my mate who was travelling in South America when the show started, and when he came back Yasmina was the only one left

Registered 14 years agoI was really surprised he kept Kate over Debra. I think Yasmina deserved to be in the final.
Poor old James, he really seemed out of his depth last night. My heart sank when Sir Alan gave him one last chance to sell himself in a sensible manner. What did he come back with, reinventing the wheel and spokes joke. That was his last chance and still he joked. Shame - seems like a genuinely lovely bloke. -

Registered 17 years agoThat was pure car crash TV, James at least was popualar, mainly as he didn't take himself too seriously.
The whole thing is a farce, Big Brother in suits, but I still want to know what Yasmina is doing there when she has her own company. Maybe publicity for the resteraunt?
As Alan said "wild horses would not drag me back to working for someone else" and I cannot agree more. -

I wasn't suprised Debra went at all. She may have a lot of the raw materials they want, but she's fookin hateful and would just piss everyone off. Face like a dinner plate too..
Kate's the best of the lot of em imo. -

Registered 18 years agoMy Mum still gets the Daily Mail, and whenever I'm round there I idly look through it. I don't think I've ever seen an issue where they didn't manage to illustrate at least one story with a photo of a woman in her underwear, or stockings, or some provocative image.
At the same time as criticising the world for being sleazy.
So I suppose that I shouldn't be surprised that this is the picture that they came up with for Debra. -

Yes, but to be fair she looks better on camera, thats a horrible picture. But most of the appeal is her massive tits... -

From the sounds of it, the restaurant will be doing a better job without her. -

Publicity. And the fact it's not paying her very well?
Less than 400k turnover (didn't catch the exact figures last night). 4% pre-tax margin. That's a (pre-tax) profit of less than £16k. Dividends split between her and her brother, so 8k a piece. Even with 'creative' accounting and the fact you can get all your meals for free, it's not exactly a lot of money. -
Unless they're paying themselves a humungous salary, of course.
