Finished the game during the week, very enjoyable. I took my time and finished it in about 14-15 hours. But in all that time I only found 2 out of the 38 radio tags! And they are quite visible so it is strange I didn't find more.

Probably will go back and finish off some of the missions but I mostly only have the driving ones left which are a bit dull.

I think I've managed around 13 hours and just liberated Dust last night; I was taking my time and making sure it was on 100% ^____^

Just shy of 24 hours played, 11 tags collected and I know where one is so I'm off for it now!

Completed last night with all but five radio tags, 50 odd mining, 30 Guerilla actions and the pro race times left to do \o/

Great game. Been hooked since the day I picked it up.

You know that big bridge in Eos?

How the fuck am I meant to bring that bad boy down?

Thermobaric rockets, or just take the re-spawning walker from the construction site and go nuts.

There's not much point though, the bridge just constantly re-spawns.

I did it with a load of remote charges from underneath, it ended up landing on a tank that had been called out.

Nevermind, got the fucker. Parked some cars on it and loaded them up with remote charges, then took out the sides with the rocket launcher.

    Playlist update soon:

Have you tried out RFG's competitive multiplayer yet? If not, you're missing out on a lot of crazy games and some really stiff competition. Even if you don't touch the ranked games in Matchmaking, the custom game options allow for all of your friends to get together and create some seriously ridiculous matches. My personal favorite is Singularity Bombs + Rhino only in Anarchy. Be prepared to get tossed around...
Did we mention that you still gain XP during these custom matches? Even more of a reason to experiment!
Very soon (hopefully this week), we'll be doing a playlist update, based mainly on community feedback. There are three main changes within this update:
    1. We're going to break open the "Team Objective" playlist into each specific mode. Instead of "Team Objective", you'll see headings for "Capture the Flag", "Damage Control", and "Demolition". Lots of players have been asking for this and it should allow our multiplayer community to really get into the specific game mode they most enjoy.

    2. We're reducing the frequency for the Rockets/Grinder/Jetpack loadout across the board. Again, based on community feedback, we want to ensure that our playerbase continues to enjoy themselves, no matter what playlist they pick.

    3. Map Priority - Due to the new separated playlists, the priority of certain maps appearing will level out, since each playlist will have specific maps to play on. The same goes for other playlists.
This is only the beginning for us with regard to playlist changes, so be sure to keep posting up your opinions. Two good threads to start with are here and here. If you don't have an account yet for our forums and want to tell us what you think of MP, please register on the top right and let us know in the Multiplayer section.

Shall we try getting an EG custom lobby going this week? Thursday maybe?

I too should be up for some games, got the game on Saturday and played some randomers in MP yesterday. It really is quite good.

Duffking - I've added that RFG GT to my friends list.

Thank god. Demolition is not my cup of tea at all.

Been enjoying the game a lot so far even though I keep getting my ass handed to me in multiplayer. Does the matchmaking actually set up fair teams because it's hard to tell with no obvious ranking assigned to people?

You done all the guerilla actions then Peej?

I have to admit this game has unlocked the collect-a-thon whore in me that has layed dormant for too long. I got to Eos last night but thus far I have blown up every EDF building and completed every guerilla action in all sectors en route. Including those boring transporter missions.

Great game this, the destruction never gets old.

I'm 4 guerrilla actions short of completion and don't really know how the fuck I'm gonna find 'em. They have to be undone convoy/spy interception missions, but since they all seem to trigger from invisible spots, do I just have to drive around until I find the uncompleted ones? It's also annoying that the completed convoy missions constantly start over again and can't be cancelled, since another one won't trigger if one's "active" already. I know, just achievement-whoring, but as I'm this close, it'd be nice to get 'em done.

Convoy missions appear randomly, and will stop appearing once they've been completed iirc.

Came across a nice little Saints Row themed Easter Egg last night while wandering around the Badlands safehouse. One of the random members of Red Faction complained about having his Feed Dogz collection confiscated.

Finished this a couple of days back.

Fantastic little game and I did 94% of the Guerilla missions but I just can't get the last few to trigger so gave up on my 100% achievement.

Did manage to blow up 100 EDF flyers and pro time all the Demo challenges though which I was particularly proud of.

Its the first game I have finished without breaking and going back to in a long long time too. Definatley GotY for me so far in terms of enjoyment.

Thermobaric rockets. Or, even better, start up some trouble, go all the way up to red level and then keep going. Eventually they'll send a freaking huge multipell rocket launcher tank after you, fry the driver with the arc welder, take control and hold down the left trigger......it is a thing beauty.....:D

I'm bored of this now. There's fuck all to do once you've finished the game.

Not having a New Game +, in this game particularly, is so retarded I want to punch all the developers in the cock.

Indeed I was going to start another game on hard or insane but I could not go back to being without the Jetpac and knowing that does not get unlocked until virtually the last stage I could not be bothered. Replaying the early area's with all toys unlocked would have added a lot to the game.

I'd agree with that - I finished it last night at the 27 hour mark after taking my time. I still have lots to do - got all the crates, but only 8 holotags and about 140 ore sites mined, so I could spend some time getting those if I'm bored.

I thought the final mission was a joke, though - very poor checkpointing and, tactically, it was hard to do anything other than just charge through it blindly because they *always* knew where you were and it was just a complete onslaught.

To my mind defending the command centre and reaching the top of the mountain should have been totally seperate missions. Even though the first one was relatively easy, I started to get frustrated with the second part to the point where I turned it off for a rest from it and then had to go back through it all again.

There really should have been a checkpoint once you got to where you were going in the final mission, the last checkpoint was very poorly placed.

I got the jetpack in the Badlands (I hadn't liberated it or Oasis), I'm not sure how it determines when it becomes available to buy.

They also missed a huge trick in not having the multiplayer backpacks unlockable in the single player game, even as cheats.

It could of been so much better. After throwing everything and the kitchen sink into Saints Row 2 I'm surprised RF is such a lean sandbox.

    DLC is on the way!
Volition have announced three packs in the works.

The first pack is called "Demons of the Badlands", this is a singleplayer mission set in a new area of Mars, with new weapons and vehicles too. Available August 13th, not far away now.

There's some pics in the screenshot gallery here on EG .
