The first two were pretty poor, but I'll put my hand up and say that I enjoyed 'Angels & Demons' and 'The Da Vinci Code'.

Great literature it ain't, but good holiday reading.

Oh come on people!! I noticed that one of the recommendations on my wife's copy of one of his paperbacks was from an Amazon review!

However I haven't read any, so shouldn't slag them off.

I'll probably pick it up. I quite enjoyed Angels and Demons and that other one about computer stuff, no idea what it's name was. The one that wasn't the Da Vinci Code or the shit one about aliens.

Good holiday reads needn't be such badly written shite. There are plenty of good writers creating accessible and entertaining reads without the shoddy plotting, awful dialogue and shallow inept characterisation of Brown's work.

Claiming somehow that Dan Brown's fucking awful work is ok, because it's just a bit of light reading is akin to saying it's okay for McDonalds to make a burger out of shite, because it's just a snack.

You deserve more than that.

Isn't that fucking bullshit Solomon Key supposed to be out soon.

He's both technically inept and creatively bankrupt. I have zero, literally zero, idea how anyone can claim otherwise.

(nb not necessarily the same as saying it can't entertain, in the same way that Police Academy might make someone laugh)
