SotC would be the obvious choice, but NMH definitely deserves a mention. Also: Bowser fight in Mario Galaxy. That's just recently, off the top of my head. If I start thinking about earlier games I wouldn't know where to begin.

Mostly obvious choices but my memory for the more obscure stuff is terrible.

Oh yeah def secret of mana but for me it was the end boss music after the dark lyche, it was inspiring at the time!

Baten kaitos boss music, cant remember the name, it was about the only techno music in the entire game though!

One winged angel, dont mind the final fantasy advent children version either!

Egg Viper in Sonic Adventure.

Scratch that, it's From Seeing the Rough Wave, from the boss De Rol Le from Phantasy Star Online. I went into that battle undergunned, but came out the victor, and that track was spurring me on all the way

These Persona 3 FES boss themes have just resurfaced in my memory for some reason:

'Heartful Cry'
'Darkness'
'The Battle for Everyone's Souls'

The first one is from when you have to battle your friends, the second from the fight against Erebus at the end of FES and the last one from the face-off against the Nyx Avatar
