I don't think they are using the Elfman soundtrack. I love the Batman score, alas elfman has repeated his trick far to often on these superhero movies, they're all sounding the same. I'm sure the score will be good but i think they need some new blood in the superhero score club. Ashley Judd was up for the Catwoman job, she would've been far better. Berry was a retarded choice, thankfully the film looks uber poo so i'm happy they've done it all wrong. |

Actually, she's both. In the old series in the 60's she was played by a black woman and a white woman. -

Registered 18 years agoJulie Newmar was Catwoman in the 60's (she was white and really tall if I remember correctly) and Eartha Kitt played her later on in the 60's (She's black). -
This whole, Wonderwoman/Catwoman can't be played by a Black person thing is interesting. I kind of agree, in that somehow it just feels wrong, but at the same time I think we should try and be a bit more open minded about these things. The reason none of these charachters are Black is because when the original comics were written, this just wouldn't have been acceptable, so maybe its time we undid these wrongs.
I mean, why does it matter? We managed to get over one of Charlie's Angel's being Asian and James Bond being Scottish/Irish. Why can't Wonder Woman be black? -

Registered 18 years agoIf catwoman can be black then so can james bond, its as easy as that. Changing the colour of any well established character just reeks of political correctness. If they ain't gonna do it right they should just fuck off back to zoob zoob land(the land of zoob is where the mongs live, not, as some of you's racist types would assume to be bongo bongo land). -

Registered 18 years agoJulie was 6ft tall i think, she was a good Catwoman, but she moved on to do other things, so that's when Eartha came in. The show was pretty downhill after then though and it got cancelled. -

Hmm. But surely not letting them do the job just based on the colour of their skin is racist? I'm not sayiong that it SHOULD be a Black actor, but if the best person for the job happens to be Black, then why shouldn't they be able to do it?
Would you have a problem with them having the wrong eye colour, or the wrong accent? What's the difference? -

Registered 17 years agoI remember seeing a documentary a while ago on that 60's Batman show. When the show was cancelled, Adam West who was Batman had to make money, so he appeared at various places afterwards dressed as Batman. It didn't make him alot of money though, particulalrly since nooone wanted him in their films after that. I don't think he's done much since, except do a voice in the Simpsons. -

Too pasty looking for my liking, and not quite buxom enough, I think.
I think the spoof idea was excellent. I'm really not sure I could ever take Wonder Woman seriously these days. That costume is so camp. Although, they would blatantly beef it up a lot, and put in loads of armour. And probably make it black too.
