@killersrquiet You really should give it a go IMO. It actually reminds me a lot of my good times with Dishonoured (when played stealthily, of course), come to think of it. While these games are only moderately similar the actual mechanical feel of sneaking around in Thief is very reminiscent of Dishonoured to me. Edit: teh typos! teh typos! Registered 8 years agoI finished this a couple of nights ago clocking in at over 20hours. The audio is my biggest gripe. It's shit and there's no getting around that. Cutting out ambient sounds, looping dialogue and much more.
That said. I bloody loved it. Yes, it's different from the original series but it has a lot to recommend it any way.
On to dishonored now and actually missing thief a bit. -

One of my biggest "caught by surprise" games ever. Came totally out of nowhere, very original in many regards and the gameplay is excellent.
As my previous comment evidently suggests I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it after Thief.
