'Review sites need to give low score every now and then just to keep their review score average at acceptable level. Darkfall was obviosly chosen for it. With help of df they can keep giving 100% reviews (perfect game) for World of Warcraft and still keep respectable score average.

Registered 16 years agoOne could probably do a linguistic analysis of their forum and not doubt stick it in a journal. The title would read something wanky like "Inarticulate attempts at powerful language and how they undermine reader's impressions of authority and intellect in the digital age."

Looking at the commentary by Gillen (KG's last game review for a while, if not ever, it would seem), his reasoning to the rereview is both eloquent but also worrying in that apparently a lot of fellow journo's sided with Adventurine. Not sure this'll do much to shame them, mind.
Anyone who thinks this entire debacle was simply about Dorkfailers and a shit MMO has their head in the sand. -

Sorry to say this but Kieron shouldnt review a game that has already been reviewed. This is very unproffesional by him. But i guess Kieron has kids to feed and a big spender wife to support so i can understand him
Even if everyone admits that the first reviewer was a retard, when you review a game thats it . Unless EG liked the traffic that was caused by enraged DFO fanboyz and wanted more of the same.......
As for EG offering a second review seriously it seems your credibility hit the bottom with this. No offence but now i can see why Americans talk about eurotrash when they refer to everything coming from EU.
i am a reader of EG for years as a guest, and its really sad for me that i had to register and and comment for the first time about how dissapointed i am about how low EG fall in the eyes of many of its readers in the last years
I hope in the future EG would be more carefull about the ppl they choose to review games.
And kieron even if your review was a great read about a game that i havent even heard plz next time you see money on your doorstep, dont bent over. Its for our reputation that we live for, damn it
