have you all seen city of vilains?and did you guys get 1 more power than on the beta i did i got a powerslide.

yeah, everyone gets the powerslide, at least everyone who got the boxed version.

i've seen a bit of stuff about city of villains. some funky ideas from what i've read, and obviously i'd fit into the world of villainy much better than being a hero. i am evil you understand.

oh, and if any of youse bump into me in game and try to initiate a conversation or team up or anything, and i fail to respond, it's more because i haven't a clue how to do the interacty stuff rather than me ignoring you.

if someone send you a tell, hit backspace and it'll reply to them with whatever you type

proceed each comment with the following:

/tell superheroname, hello - sends a tell of Hello to superheroname

/team hello - sends a hello to team

/sg hello - sends a hello to supergroup

/local

/broadcast

/request etc...

Probably the only difference between the versions is the launcher which is only small so could be emailed...

Ah
hitting return takes you to the chat line
so if you received a tell from whizzo you could:

Press backspace, type hello, hit enter

If you wanted to say poopyplops to everyone in the local area you would:

Hit return, type /local poopyplops, hit enter

Or there are small B, R, S, T, L etc buttons above the chat line which'll automatically take you to the right chat area. Does that help?

So which server is the EG crew on?

I have decided to reorganise my planned game expenditure. I have just cancelled KOTR 2 for this so it had better be good! Also I need to fill the gap between today and WoW with something and you guys seems to be having fun!

It was Union originally but some EGers had already created their characters on Defiant so we switched before most of us had got it running.

You haven't been doing a Union character all morning have you? :-O

although saying that.. you had massive activity from your PC at about 11:30pm which actually kicked me off WoW.

Yes you can have swords.

speed, just think of the character on Union as a test run for your real one...

If you change the origin of it the missions at the start will be different anyway so you'll see some different things.

Er good point, it's about a gig but there should be a torrent around somewhere, I'll go look...

Edit: no you can't download it without spending money, a blank DVD is no expense and it's only the cost of a stamp to get it to you.

that sounds like it was about the time that my game started acting up in a way that i assume was the connection getting mullered. i'd run at a bloke, do a big slashy attack and suddenly be standing a couple of metres away from him. sorted itself out after a couple of minutes but it were bloody wierd.

and this is my favourite of the fan videos on there.
