Oh my god what is that silly band from EUROPEAN BACKWATER X wearing?!
Phwoar, check out the totty from EUROPEAN BACKWATER Y!
I wish Britain would stop taking this farce so seriously!
ARGH, BRITAIN'S PERFORMANCE WAS SO SHIT
Say, this song from EUROPEAN BACKWATER Z is pretty catchy!
The political voting in this is atrocious!
Well that was shit, I hope it's better next year

As I said in another thread:
My predictions for eurovision 2009 is
I am a fan of the Norwegian and Azerbaijan but not Greece one. Greece could do well as its a rather catchy song. UK will fail yet again
I'm genuinely surprised at the results. (@rodpad)
Based on the tradition of picking the act I'd most like to do, I want Turkey to win.
Damn Lukus, you're totally gay
It's Eurovision, I thought everyone in here was gay..
Nah, only mowgli
But he's fat. I'm confused.
He's gay, too. I thought everyone knew?
oh for fuck sake, graham bastarding norton?
whos in fucking charge? i want them killed.
i always love eurovision but this might completely ruin it for me (
It's impossible to be fat and gay. That's just science.
fuck, this was the perfect opportunity for user_profile.php japery...
There's no way he's gay.
That Norwegian tune isn't half bad. Neither of the others really grab me though - the Greek one particularly is very dull.
I could see Norway winning. A dash of folksy local culture in the tune often helps (Ireland traded off that for years), the cute boy won't hurt, and nobody's got any axe to grind with Norway aside from the odd mental Swede.
The British entry won't go anywhere. It's not awful, but it's incredibly generic - it might fit into the middle of a Webber musical somewhere, but as a standalone track it's utterly forgettable. It pains me every year to see the UK entering boring, forgettable rubbish and then moaning that nobody votes for them for political reasons - sure, there's political voting going on (if by political you mean that people in similar parts of Europe are more likely to have shared cultural heritage and like the same stuff), but you have to have a good song before that shit even starts to affect you!
(Also, according to Lukus' theory, I must either be straight or thin. I shall choose to believe that I'm thin. Hurrah!)

Pfft, Norton is perhaps the only person I trust with dear Terry's mantle.

Personally I am glad Wogans gone - his rants were beginning to border on the Xenophobic.
