I like to imagine some journalist toying with the headline BA flight forced to land early because of broken toilet for several hours before going with smelly poo as they felt it added the right level of seriousness to the story.

Sometimes I wonder if whoever picks the images for BBC articles is genuinely trying to find the most unflattering pictures they can, all the time.

Haha one thing the BBC have been quite good at is their hilarious pictures, top work!

@Duffking You'd struggle to find a pleasant image of that odious creature. Anyway top thread this!

Refuelling will make F1 more exciting

Also making the engines louder will hopefully attract more fans!

I wonder if making it more exciting is the right idea... if people want excitement, F1 is probably the last thing they'll watch. I bet most viewers use it for relaxation training or meditation, like those CDs with sounds of the sea, birds chirping and pan flutes.

I see the BBC have lost the rights to cover the Queen's 90th birthday. ITV get the nod.

Love this. They actually got rid of it a few years back for exactly the same reason

    What does the fox say?

    Including quotes like

Mr Staines admitted he "tweaked his groin" trying to get away from the marauding animal and back to the safety of the club.
    and

A man who tried to outpace the creature on his bicycle was chased into a field and fell off, losing his glasses in the process.
It sounds like some Dad's army episode FFS.

Glad to see, in these days of cut backs, the BBC can still send out photographers to illustrate their stories, and not just rip the first vaguely appropriate image off Google Streetview.

    'Super-gonorrhoea' outbreak in Leeds

Admittedly the article is fairly standard, but that headline just made me think of The Day Today.

Why is the bbc giving a voice to someone who clearly knows fuck all about technology and the situation Apple are in with the FBI.

the website is dead to me. The constant need to try and be facebook or twitter and posting pointless stories on their front page and using click bait headings is disgusting.

    case in point:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-35595923

    seriously, this is 'news'?

The Tories finally getting their wish by reducing the BBC budgets to push them to Daily Mail level, making it easier for them to abolish the license fee.

I'm missing BBC Three more than I thought I would

You can borrow my Family Guy DVDs if you're missing endless repeats of it?

I'm sure Anfony can lend you copies of every Top Gear episode too.

Don't tell the bride? That's the first gay thing I've ever actually heard you do. Except for the horse thing.

I'm surprised that's not a fire threat. You'd think it would essentially act as kindling.
