Registered 16 years agoNot having to get up at 5:45 and go to work.
Free tickets to watch the cricket for me and my friends and time off work (+ the day following).
Some pie. -
Watching a rifftrax with a few mates with pizzas and pear cider/inferior booze nearby
and if that fee I have to pay for forgeting to pay a few days rent (for the oddly shaped month at the end of my last contract) went away (don't even know how much it is, but a sheet of A4 paper, a stamp, and evelope and secretarial work involving 30 seconds with mail merge will probobly run about 30 quid+ knowing my luck). It's not that much given that it's my fault, but its annoying me at the moment. -
A big fat bifter. -

Registered 20 years agoI'm a rubbish cook - well not very experienced. Tho I reckon if you can read you can cook. My quick specialty is four cheese sauce or spicy meatballs, but I think I'd try some things my mates' have introduced me to. Cream cheese stuffed chillies and salmon canapes on some courgette pastry (a recipe some forumite directed me to and worked well) and vodka for starters. Main course, some meat dish, maybe a curry with rice. New York Cheese cake for dessert and shit loads of alcohol and a big fat spliff/fresh tobacco and port to cap it all off. None of it will probably go together well, but fuck it. And I want the show's commentator doing the voice overs. You? -

Registered 16 years agoA few things, either of which would cheer me up.
1) My parents to come back from abroad so I can hug them and talk to them without the 4 seconds or so delay we get by talking on the phone, its been over 6 months now.
2) My best friend being here without her man around so we can joke around like we used to, and also the knowledge she'll stick around.
3) To man up, stop feeling sorry for myself and realise my other friends are just as important to me and go do something with them, despite the fact that we never have fun together for free, we always go out drinking or whatever and i'm low on funds, and I don't think the "fun" time is worth my money.
4) For my PSP to come back from repairs. GRRR. It'll have to come back with a 12" Pizza and chips to fully make me happy though.
5) Not have to go to work tomorrow (only tomorrow, i'm not asking for much) so I can wake up late and just sit in the sun. -

Registered 15 years agoim in the same boat, not particularly experienced but i have a couple of tricks. seen a tourine cooked on the show a couple of times now and that looks delicious so im going to have a pop at that sometime. then some steak with magic tatties, a recipe i got from one of my exes. not sure about the dessert, im sure i could think of something tho.
the fat spliff at the end of yours sounds like a fucking plan tho. dave lamb is a legend, apparently he was being championed for the eurovision gig, i reckon he would be awesome. dont suppose you live in glasgow do you? -

Yeah, he is quality. Helps that he's got some decent material to work with.
Would be good for Eurovision. -

Not with work in the morning. Travelling into Waterloo from Bracknell, then back out to North London isn't a ideal start to the day. -
