NTSC or PAL copy of the game?

Anyway, I've given my Blue chocobo 90 Sylkis greens and the stamina is at 999 but the speed is crap (92). Can't win a single race in class A.

When doing CFW conversions you were always recommended to use the NTSC ISOs as the PAL ones had glitches. I'm assuming this is still the case.

Downloaded this little beauty yesterday after scanning the PSN Store and remembering I was yet to purchase it.
I can't remember the last time I played it and there are only one or two small things I can remember for it but even after only about 3 hrs in I am hooked! I was meant to join a game with a mate yesterday but I just couldn't bring my self to ignore this.

Anyway, I think I have already missed something because after you get back to the hideout and just before you go off to the next mission I was told a guy had a weapon for me upstairs but I could see no way of getting upstairs what so ever so I left it. How was I mean't to get upsairs?

It's the guy upstairs from the weapon shop isn't it? He provides a tutorial to some of the mechanics of the game and you get some sort of materia and an item from him.

Well I went up to see that guy as I searched every room of every building and talked to everyone.
Oh well, maybe I didn't ask him the right things.

You don't get anything special. There's a box there and that's about it I think. I wouldn't worry about it.

FF7 has very little of note until the end of the game that is drastic to miss.

Nah, I just got a chocobo to get past that twat (tried to take him on...got beaten....badly)

You're not supposed to be able to beat him are you? He's so many levels ahead, it's really more of a way to force you to learn about capturing Chocobos.

Unless you make some pretty extreme preparations it's impossible to kill it that early on. Even if you grind it down over the course of an hour you'll still be wiped out by the Beta spell it uses before it dies.

Though remember it for later so you can capture said spell for your own personal use ;-)

Just got Vincent in my party. Now I have my first choice 3. Cloud, Barrett and Vincent, all sitting in the back row (cloud with long range equipped). Time to make this game my bitch again!
