Yeah, I just scheduled up the demo. This one has really caught me by surprise. After reading the review and watching the gameplay demo UG linked to - I'm really quite excited about it! |

Registered 13 years agoum, does anyone know how to get past the bit on level 1-1 where you have to get across a ledge that pops up a huge tip about being able to explode 3 times?
i feel a bit thick for not being able to work it out but ah well. -

Registered 17 years agoIt's well worth it, the character anims are fairly good for a laugh and the gameplay is simple yet rewarding. the levels get challenging at times, some of the checkpointing is a little up and down (some big gaps for 'complicated' areas) but all in all, a cracking game. -

Registered 20 years agoPretty good demo; doesn't outstay it's welcome. It seemed pretty damn fast once you really get motoring in a Sonic kinda way, not sure if I want 50(?) levels of it though.
Think I'll wait on you lot before dropping 800 points on it... -

Registered 18 years agoI've loved the look of this ever since I first saw it. I'll try the demo and, unless I hate it, most probably buy - 800 points seems like a fair price.
What's also great is the game has unlockable gamerpics/themes/avatar clothing, just like with The Maw. Other developers should take note. -

Registered 12 years agoI have played this for a few hours already. It is a fantastic game so far. Once you get past the 1st 3 levels (the demo levels) it really picks up. I haven't had this much fun since SMB3 -

Registered 14 years agoSome of the achievements are great, stupid but they make you laugh. Also don't choose the way of the coward because they humiliate you for it
don't know where eurogamers getting a 7 from easily an 8 for what you get for the price, i'd give it a 9 personally but there you go. -

I hear it's very short, and they hate that. -

I don't know how 50 (challenging) single player levels 50 co op over live or local, time trials well worth my €10. Not even half way through and its taken me 4-5 hours just on the singleplayer (screw you 2-6) -

Registered 15 years agoYou get extra value with some gamer pictures and a theme that you can unlock as you progress. Every game should have this option.
Great game, only finished a couple of levels so far. -

Registered 13 years agoi love the utterly random nonsense - like there's a bit of music that seems to be ripped right out of a bruce lee film at a certain point, even though it has no connection to what is happening on screen. quite a few laugh out loud moments so far, that one included.
i love his aeroplane run too. -

Someone already covered it, but just to emphesis that point.. The game is most definitely not short. 50 levels, and 50 totally different co-op levels which progressively get more difficult..
Free gamer pics, premium theme and avatar accesories also make the price well worth it. -

Someone needs to strap Sonic Team down with a copy of this game. This is what a "fast" game should be. -

Registered 14 years agoI'm getting my ass kicked by the giant robot on 1-16. I'm doing well then all of a sudden i get launched to the screen without any warning. Does anybody know what to do? I don't want to use "way of the coward". I'm a man damn it! Cheers -

Registered 20 years agoNo someone needs to strap the sonic team down and not let them make any more sonic games.
This is rather good though, plays superbly. -

I really enjoyed the demo. The lead character is just hilarious, his animations are so over the top and insane. I can tell it will get quite tough by the end, but then it is sort of puzzle gamey as well as being a platformer. Reminds me rather a lot of sonic as others have said. Speed plus puzzle elements. -

Just checked and my partner is playing this at the moment, so I'll be giving the co-op a go later by the looks of it. -
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay CAKE!
Also: The doughnut song rocks

Bought it a few hours ago and can't stop playing it. Some classic nods to some of my favourite movies too. Best so far was after defeating a giant robot it clung to a cliff edge for a moment. Mr 'Splosion comes out with "See you at the party Richter" just before the robot falls classic stuff. Great fun. Unfortunately it can be a little frustrating at times. Collision detection with the explodable barrels being my main gripe. -
The demo is making me laugh so much that it would be rude not to buy the full game. It's great, and the running plane noises will never, ever get old.
