Had a bit more of a rideout during a day off work on Friday and really enjoyed the RSV4. Took it pretty steady as there was a fair bit of single track roads with gravel and farmer's shite but the smooth stuff felt great. It's absolutely nuts how quickly scenery comes at you when you really give it a fistful though. the torq

Been watching a few videos about the RSV4 and Tuono lately, Iíd love an Aprilia at some point. The motor is incredible, thatíll be a blast to twat about on this summer. Where abouts do you ride normally?

Got a test ride on the new 765 RS tomorrow morning, the roads around here are unusually clear at the moment so Iím looking forward to that. Hopefully scratches an itch the Monster didnít, but thinking about a Tuono potentially if not, just want to put off testing one as long as possible

@elstoof I've always rode bike with clip-ons but i'm coming round to the idea of a bike with normal bars. I bet the Tuono is a hoot. I'm finding the noise of the V4 with the Akra pretty addictive. It definitely turns heads. This past week when i'm not on the bike i'm watching videos of other people ride them.

Hope you enjoy your ride out tomorrow! I'm definitely gonna scope things out and see if it's any quieter around here. My county is about two decades behind the rest of the country so i'm not certain if corona virus will keep people from travelling.

I'm in Lincolnshire. Some decent roads around here but a lot of farmers too so the road conditions vary.

The 765RS was a stunner! The engine sounds incredible even with the stock can, I donít think youíd even want to change it, bags of power and the scream it makes at the top end is perfect. Steering feels quicker than my 899, less effort to chuck it around and just feels planted. Great suspension and brakes are much better than Iím used to. I want one, really badly. Probably see myself chucking clips ons and rearsets at it a few years down the line though, just feels more natural being hunkered down although itís not quite as upright as the Monster was

Kicking myself with the timing. Had been trying to sell my ped so I could get a bike, and finally managed to get rid of it on Monday. Just before the lockdown kicked in so now can't go and l at a new one, and have nothing to ride when I can go back to work. :(

I probably could get away with a short ride "for shopping"but circling about within a few k from your house isn't a fun ride.

If the police pull you over 30-40k from where you live 'out shopping'won't cut it and you just get a ticket.

    @RichDC \o/ grats Rich!

PS: Like the security! Get a ground anchor too if you're able to!!! If that is where you'll be parking it most of the time, that concrete looks like an ideal spot to drill into and fix it.

My cleaned up Yamaha MT-09 (2017) from a couple of days ago. Yes, self isolation is that boring.

Cheers. Unfortunately I can't really park it there and I think the council would moan if start digging up pavement. For a couple of months it will unfortunately have to stay locked up on the street to a lamp post and covered. The ped I had before was fine there for six months so touch wood this will be too.

Don't dig it up, just drill a few holes and fit a ground anchor.

Or something a little less extreme. Match it to the thickness of your chain, but you can see its 4 holes to fit it

Cheers, but unfortunately it's still not mine to do anything to. It's a public pavement and there's nowhere else around the block that I could install something. I'm only there for a two months max though and then it will be in a garage.

Hello guys !!! :D I'm new here and I see here is a big motorcycle's topic. Very nice !!! I'm riding motorcycle as well. What a vehicles we have here ? My bike currently is BMW G 310R, i like small, light, agile, well turning bikes. I'm not specially fan of superbikes on public roads. I'm waiting for better weather and for my new windscreen which i ordered for my BMW :D

@Aanton Currently a 2017 Honda CMX 500 here, which we had brand new, and have hardly ridden :(

Had all sorts in the past. My first bike was a 1990-ish Honda CG 125. My favourite until the new CMX was probably my vintage GPZ 750.

    Welcome to the forum :)
