I think owning MV would be like going out with Sinead O’Connor

What's a motorcycle for if it isn't always ready to kill you on a whim

First ride in months yesterday, MOT expired just as the good weather rolled in and had to wait weeks for a service. Nice ride up through Bucks, properly shagged after that though. Need to get the thighmaster out

Weird. The bike was parked up outside from end of Jan or early Feb.
We had some lovely early 18-20 degree weather, then it went down to 8-10 degrees with a bit of frost at night.

It sat outside through the cold and wasn't driven for 4-5 weeks. When I went to start it, it started fine on the first go.

I last drove it last week, the weather has been pleasant.
Went to start it yesterday and it's dead.
Put it on the charger for 24 hours. Still dead.

Seems like my battery just decided to pack it in all of a sudden. I bought it in March 2020. I was hoping to get some more use out of it. :-/

Just speaking to a relative about picking up a cheap bike and get my cbt done again, £115 for a cbt with bike rental and can see a cbf 125 and ybr 125 for about £1000 each local to me.

It's been around 5 years since my last bike and its all I really need for the summer and to avoid public transport to actually see some friends who live further out, cleaned out my shed and got the tools ready, I have missed taking simple bikes apart and fixing them myself.
