Storage issues...

So, I'm adding photos to my photo frame memory card, and every little thing I try add (even a new folder) it says card full. Thing is, it's a 2GB SD card which has 275 sub-megabyte pics on, and it say 1.75GB free...

I just can't figure it out; weirdest thing is, if I try copy to another device like a 2GB USB stick, THAT says it's full too! I've done it on the PC, on the iMac, and it's always the same result: card full.

    Any ideas?

Far as I know, read only has a message on Macs that actually states "cannot move data on drive, drive is read only".

Try putting in your Mac and emptying the trash. I've known USB drives and the like when using a Mac if you deleted content on the drive and didn't empty the trash before you unplug it, the Mac will not actually delete anything until you empty the trash, even though it says you have free space.

The trash is emptied, both systems read both mediums as having the free space.

Gonna try re-labelling files, see if it really is that petty.
