Registered 18 years agoI went on two rollercoasters at Disneyland for pretty much the first time in a long, long time. Longer than I can remember last being on one anyway. Absolutely hated them. Went on the second one just to confirm how much I didn't enjoy the first one and it was even worse as it had a loop-de-loop.
I can see the attraction, but for me it just feels like a horrible feeling being thrown about - imminent death, that kind of thing. I also hate flying, although not enough to stop me going on holiday. Turbulence is the worst feeling in the world. -

I think that the feeling of standing in a field at a festival singing the same song as ~50000 strangers is better than sex, in that it fills me with joy for a lot longer.

A strange question as there's always a moment for everything. Bridge swinging for example is the single most terrifying and exhilarhating thing I've ever done. Swimming with Whale Sharks was amazing because I've adored the creatures for ages and never realised I could do something so easily. The atmosphere in a pub when your football team come back to take the victory is unbelievable.
It's impossible to say what sex is better than or what is better than sex. It's such a common phrase I guess but I can't really give an answer. -

There are a few things I've experienced that are, moment for moment, better than sex; like bungee jumping or a really insanely good rollercoaster (like Kingda Ka or Superman: Ride of Steel - both in the US). However, they last for a minute at most (and with Kingda Ka and bungee jumping, the really good stuff lasts mere seconds) so as a total experience can't quite compare to the best that sex has to offer.
Also, I'm sure that if I undertook the above activities frequently, then I'd suffer from diminishing returns, wheras sex more or less gets better every time I have it.
There is one thing I've experienced that probably was better than sex, given that it is the single most amazing moment of my life to date. I even took a photo.gif)

Unfortunately that specific photo was taken on Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe, which we were only really able to visit because my parents have family friends over there who's company owns a boat. Doing it as a tourist then was near impossible, and the country wasn't nearly as fucked up 3 years ago
Still, more traditional safaris in more stable countries are fine. I really want to do one again now that I have a DSLR (as opposed to my tiny compact with 2x zoom I had in 2006). -
