The local Szeuchan place has re-opened for delivery, so...

Boiled Beef in Chilli Oil Soup, with Beef Ho Fun.

This might hurt. But in a good way.

We got a roast delivered from a local pub. 15 quid each. Was totally not worth it. It was stone cold when it arrived, the gravy was water, one (one!) Yorkshire pudding. Iíd have made a roast 5 times better for half the money. Support local businesses and stuff but fucks sake

I've cut back on meat to once a fortnight but had a bit of a craving for Ragu.

I roasted some brisket for about 3 hours with shallots and garlic. It was essentially falling apart, so tasty I had to refrain from just chowing down on that.

Made the sauce with diced carrots, celery and roasted tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine and more garlic.

Cooked it all down for about 30 mins added some water to keep it from reducing down too much.

Fresh pasta and loads of parmesan.

    It was very good.

Usually it's chicken breast cooked in a Nandos sauce, with my wife's own spicy rice recipe. But time was of the essence so dippers and chips it was!

Yep, although we'd run out last week so I just chucked a load of hot paprika in. Not quite as good but serviceable (obviously)
