So erm... you want some of my pork? I'll happy give it you. Sauce will follow.

Groovy. Just as long as you don't give me scratchings.

I bought some coconut milk for £1.86 then decided it was too fatening! So I made fajitas instead! Awesome. So easy to make with those old el paso kits

Have you tried the Discovery brand fajita kits? I used to always used the El Paso ones, but since trying the discrovery brand I find them much better and always use those now :-)

Tonight I'm having home made beef bugers served with mashed sweet potatoes, pork stuffing balls, buttered carrots, and yorkshire pudding - all covered with a rich onion gravey... can't wait till din din time

My folks are away so i'm living on junk. By the time they get back i'll have put on about 8 stone. I think if I get fat i'd look like David Baddiel.

    Ready-meal Tagliatele from M&S.

I've got 3 days left till my thesis is handed in, so no time for cooking.

I'm home alone this weekend and most of next week but I'm cooking myself proper roast potatoes (usually denied goose fat coz she's veggie), roasted courgettes and carrots, stuffing, chicken gravy from good stock and instead of a roast bird I'm having a quorn and gruyere escalope that was left over from a pack she'd bought before she went away but which is actually really nice.

Oh, and Yorkshire puddings. And cider :)

And watching Community, which is quite a good giggle.

I baked a loaf and had it fresh out of the oven with some pate. Fortunately the fact that I didn't use a bread maker prevents it all being too middle class.

Posh hotpot made with scrag end of lamb, caramelised onions and more than a glug of white wine. Should be ready in 90 minutes

I had a beef and tomato pot noodle with Dave's insanity hot sauce and cashews.

Also feels odd saying beef in a meal when it's clearly tofu :0

edit; and by tofu I mean rehydrated soya stuff, not tofu :/

You're not supposed to eat bread that's fresh out the oven. Apparently it's undigestable.

    But hey.

If you're near bristol I can give you the end of the loaf. We've only got vegetarian pate left though.

Indeed. I do it all the time. I even eat half cooked bread out of the oven... mmmm.

Also, do you make your own dough metalfish? I usually get pre mixed stuff. And I like to make ciabatta type stuff with Tesco pizza base dough stuff (which has around 4 ingredients - compared to Asda's full of crap stuff).
  • Deleted user 27 September 2009 19:35:35
Bloody hell if only I put the food on 20 minutes earlier I wouldn't have this problem :(

    I also overcooked the tatties.

Yeah, nothing fancy, just your standard white loaf.
