Chucked a 2.5kg pork shoulder in the oven for pulled pork the other day. Managed about 150g before realising I canít stomach that sort of rich food any more

Ok, I'm pretty mashed, but I'm fucking loving roast chicken at the moment!

I admire the lack of veggies on that plate - a man after my own clogged up heart :-)

@BillMurray That looks quite tasty. I'm only allowed stuff like that once in a blue moon these days, as I would otherwise become very fat.

@Rogueywon It's from the only good pizza place we have round here so I treat myself every few months. It's so easy to demolish one in 5 minutes.

Slow cooked beef and kimchi stew - the house is smelling delicious (assuming you like the smell of spicy fermented cabbage).

Not actually sure it'll be a tonight meal due to the cooking time required for the beef shin.. not the worst thing in the world if it ends up being a takeaway tonight and the stew tomorrow, sure it'll taste better the next day anyway.

We pressure cook ours to make it quickly. Do you put gochujang in yours as well?

Sounds like it'll taste amazing tomorrow. I'd leave it.

Meanwhile, I'm going to do a sausage traybake. This one's a belter with some rich gravy on it - https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/roasted_sausage_and_39127/amp

Yeah, I stuck a healthy spoon of gochujang in. I'm also a bit obsessed with frozen gyoza at the moment - they're so good. Basically, Asian supermarkets are the absolute best.

My dads partner is Chinese, I went to see him the other day and she gave me a carrier bag full of them. I was so chuffed until someone left the freezer open and I lost loads of them :(

    http://www.mobkitchen.co.uk/recipes/chicken-gyoza-soup

Stick a few of them in that broth and ots a simple and amazing dinner.
