Registered 11 years agoSpurs have a very strong team out appearantly. AVB must fancy winning this again -
I think part of it is AVB just trying to get everyone super-humanly fit. -
Goddam I love the way Tommy volleys the ball. So fucking sexy! -

Registered 13 years agoLyon been pulled back to 3-3 from 3-1 in Israel, merrily pissing on my acca. Sporting Lisbon losing 3-0 away to Videoton. I dont even know what country they're from. Got to love this competition sometimes.
Edit: they're from Hungary and were in the UEFA cup final in 1985, so not as unknown as I thought. Thougb to be fair they've only won the Hungarian league once. They're no Honved.

Borini is really not doing it for me. Seems to make bad passing decisions way too often. -

Bordeaux are one of the best teams in France at the moment and Newcastle just controlled the match against them with a half strength team missing the likes of Ba, Coloccini, Ben Arfa, Krul etc.
So comfortable it was boring and it's a shame NUFC didn't extend the goal difference past 3 goals.

Injury time cut 30 secs short? Disgrace to the game!
Anyway that was a bit meh. Good first half performance but that equaliser knocked us and it was downhill from there. Decent last 20 chasing the game but it shouldn't have come to that to get us playing again. Credit to Udinese they took advantage of our shakiness, but disappointing to end like that after a positive first half.
