Just ordered Chronicles of Riddick for £27.99. Great price. Wondering how the service is. Do they deliver on time. Do they get a lot of stock in so I don't have to wait. That sort of stuff.

I usually shop with Play, Amazon and Game UK. Simply Games has now been added. I will find the best deal between them.

    What are your impressions ?

    thanks

Good post, I'm hoping they're first class too, as I've got Halo 2 LE pre-ordered with them...

I've also got Halo 2 LE on pre-order, pretty much on the basis of what people have said here. They'd better be pretty damn good, or else I'm suing everyone here...

Only used them once, for Spiderman 2, and it arrived a couple of days before it was officially released. Very impressed with that and have pre-ordered Halo 2 from them on that basis.

Chronicles Of Riddick for 28 notes, I think that maybe another order or wait for the PC version? Hmm...

I ordered the Doom collection from Simply Games and it arrived the very next day. Great service.

I ordered from them on a Thursday night and received the game on the Saturday morning, and you can't really ask for much quicker than that.

Well, if I don't get it on the day of release I'll just go out and buy the normal version (or get a friend at HMV to buy it with discount for me, natch).

Ok I must be the only one thats had a "bad" experience with them!

I ordered FSW after release on a tuesday and it hadn't arrived by saturday so I cancelled the order.

Although they may have been out of stock.

Glad you posted - I was beginning to think Simply weren't gonna have Riddick in (it wasn't there a few days ago; I thought they were leaving it a little late).

They seem really good. I'm also one of those guys who pre-ordered FSW and it arrived a couple of days early.

I've even spoken to the very helpful Customer services laydee, who seems right on top of things (so to speak).

Yeah. Think I got stung a bit there. Ah well, live and learn.
Maybe it was the special special edition of it, with gold covered case

    Wow, nearly 10 years old!

Anyways I did a search for a simply games thread, to tie in with the playstation 4 debacle going on over there and this is the main one i found, so i thought id give it a bump so there is somewhere we can post updates and replys from them.

To be honest we've been discussing it in the PS4 thread off and on for a while now.

    Fair enough.

I will say that I've used Simply Games a fair bit over the years and I'll continue to use them despite this situation. I did have a PS4 pre-order there but I'm going to cancel it.

I preordered from ShopTo at the same time just in case... and thankfully they said I'm guaranteed a day one console too.

Not good at all for those who went with just Simply though.

Well I would've gone with shopto, but i have some weird restriction thing on my account where I have to pay like £20 for delivery on any game, so god knows what it'll cost on a console, because like 5 of the games they sent me didnt arrive, so they punish me by charging for recorded delivery! :(
