Registered 9 years agoFair enough. Amazon have never posted until release date for my mate, whilst those other two have never not got it to me days ahead of release. Weird. -

Yeah, I used to have great service with shopto. Then about a year ago they stopped getting games to me early (fair enough, I can wait till release day). Then they failed to get them to me on release, which isn't on.

Amazon have always been good, great tracking and always on the day of release. Never early though.
Maybe I've been lucky with them, but so far so good. -

Registered 15 years agoI had a Shopto roblem last week too. Took money for both Root Letter and Yomawari on Tuesday and Root Letter arrived on Thursday. Yomawari is still 'processing' -

Registered 15 years agoI will let you know if they process my refund correctly as promised in a few days. It does look like Squenix messed up as Day 1 copies quickly became scarce on day 1...
My Shopto issue seems to be they got a batch of damaged stock so are awaiting replacements to send out, although I had to message them for this info. -

Registered 9 years agoReason I mentioned Amazon (I have prime) is because my bros Skyrim arrived on launch day from them, while my SimplyGames copy still hasn't arrived 4 days later...
I bought from local store instead and told SimplyGames I'd be returning theirs. Still have to pay postage though as they don't cover or have freepost returns

Registered 15 years agoWell, I will gove Simplygames their credit and say they refunded me as promised despite the shrinkwrap being broken so they are still a viable option in the future.
Typically the same day Squenix finally respond asking for copies of receipts implying they may have given me a code in the end... Wife ended up having to pay about 7 quid more for a replacememt than the original but as the DLC seems exclusive (and was only way to get the Japanese voices) it had to be done. -
Eh? -
