Registered 13 years agoi started off feeling cynical about this but I can’t help but get kinda excited now, curse you Capcom marketing people! My only real grumble is I only picked this up in may and have only racked up 100 or so fights (limited gaming time, and I’m a bit crap). Be interesting to see what price this ends up RRP’ing at. SFIV went down to £30 pretty quickly, so if it came out around that price I’d get it -

Registered 14 years agoI can't really see that. There's 50 quids worth of Sanwa parts in them.
If you were making a custom it'd make it much cheaper to buy and gut a TE than to buy the parts seperate. Especially as it has it's own PCB also.
This is all RRP, of course. You may find them discounted heavily if some places if they have difficulty shifting them, though. -

That interview ticks all the right boxes: re-balancing the characters, creating viewable lobbies, cheaper rrp on release and most importantly, wanting to make a darkstalkers game out of the engine. He also admitted the team made mistakes with some aspects of SF4, which is good.
Can't wait for this. -

Registered 16 years agoYeah, good interview. Sounds like they really do listen. Not having the characters locked is a good start and the admission that the cut scenes were terrible was pretty funny, as was conceding that constantly having to listen to in-de-structible was annoying.
Overall it sounds like its going to be a great update. -

But he speciofically says the bonus will be for people who have held on to their original disk doesn't he? Surely a rank transfer could be done for anyone with a save game file on their HDD? -
